I spent more than 20 years as a lawyer in Silicon Valley
Including two decades at Google, where I last served as Vice President of Legal leading a team of over 300 legal professionals.
In that role, I partnered with leaders and teams across Business Development, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources worldwide.
What I valued most as a leader was supporting people: mentoring, coaching, advising, and leading, especially through times of change and uncertainty.
Like many of my clients, I’ve navigated my share of challenges and transitions:
Layoffs (both as a leader and personally after a 20-year career), integrating a demanding career with being an engaged mother of four, facing and overcoming a breast cancer diagnosis, supporting my family through my mom’s illness, and adapting to life with a recent ADHD diagnosis.
These experiences reinforced for me the importance of reflection, curiosity, awareness, connection, courage, self-compassion, and support during periods of change and challenge.
Today, I bring both my professional background and personal journey to my coaching practice where I support others in their own journey of growth and transformation.
WHERE I AM NOW
My educational journey began at UC San Diego and UC Berkeley, followed by graduating with high honors from Santa Clara University School of Law. This foundation launched my 26-year legal career, including two decades at Google. More recently, I relocated to San Diego and completed my professional coach certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, where a rigorous and reflective training process deepened the way I support others through growth and change.
When I’m not coaching, I volunteer with the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society and stay active by going to the gym, biking along the beach, hiking, and exploring different parts of San Diego. I am also a dedicated sports fan and enjoy watching my favorite teams at home and in person. A lifelong learner at heart, I enjoy relearning the piano, sharpening my Spanish, and reading widely across both fiction and non-fiction, including works that inform my coaching practice. I also regularly practice mindfulness through journaling and meditation.
Above all, I am a proud mother of four. I spend time visiting my three oldest daughters in Los Angeles and Miami, while also valuing the daily rhythm of life at home with my husband and our son, a high schooler.
